Whether you want to cut your own tree, pick a live tree and have it cut for you, buy a tree already cut or buy a living tree you can plant, this page provides detailed listings of South West England's choose-and-cut Christmas tree farms, places to buy pre-cut (also called pre-harvested and fresh-cut) trees, stands, sleigh rides, Santa's Grotto, hay rides and related winter events and fun. Some listings are for tree farms, others are tree lots, and some only offer hay rides, sleigh rides or other winter events. READ EACH LISTING to know what each facility offers. Since this service is free and open to ALL Christmas tree farms, not just those who belong to an association or pay for an ad, like almost all other websites do, this is the most complete and current listing available! Tips:

• ALWAYS call the farm or see their website or Facebook page BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours prices and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available.  All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! November: Most Christmas tree farms open on the last Saturday in November; Some open a month earlier to allow you to mark the tree you want while the weather is nicer! Demand for trees will likely be very high this year, and global supply chain issues may reduce supplies of imported trees .Do expect prices to be up about 20%. I grow a variety of Christmas trees with my son Simon. Our farm is in Frenchay, which is north Bristol, very close to Junction 1 of the M32 motorway. In December you can come and visit us and cut your very own tree, or choose one that is ready cut. We also sell Christmas wreaths, mistletoe, pine cones and Christmas tree stands and tubs. . We close once it gets too dark to see the trees, but we do light up some of the sales area until about 5.30pm in the evenings (sometimes later). Note that there will be no tree cutting once it gets dark. Outside these dates we are not open to the public, but appointments can easily be made. Originally an American tree which are a fragrant "non needle drop" that are smaller with less dense branches so ideal for the smaller room. Norway spruce (Picea abies) From 4 to 24 feet. This is the more "Original" tree, which has a pleasant fragrance.
