Some listings are for tree farms, others are tree lots, and some only offer hay rides, sleigh rides or other winter events. READ EACH LISTING to know what each facility offers. Since this service is free and open to ALL Christmas tree farms, not just those who belong to an association or pay for an ad, like almost all other websites do, this is the most complete and current listing available! Tips:

• ALWAYS call the farm or see their website or Facebook page BEFORE YOU GO to confirm their supply, their hours prices and whether they have trees, are allowing choose-and-cut or just precut trees; and which attractions or winter activities are available.  All three can change during the short Christmas season, due to weather, demand and the farmer's business conditions! Farms get sold, shut down or run out of trees, and they don't all update me every day, let alone every year. For more tips to make your trip fun and successful, click here!

Updates for November 2024

November: Most Christmas tree farms open on the last Saturday in November; Some open a month earlier to allow you to mark the tree you want while the weather is nicer! Demand for trees will likely be very high this year, and global supply chain issues may reduce supplies of imported trees .Do expect prices to be up about 20%. Being located close to London we are also often approached for Christmas trees for films and television - we have now had a whole range of celebrity trees, including supplying those seen on Eastenders, X Factor and Strictly Come Dancing!Many varieties and sizes (up to 15 feet tall) are grown including the traditional Norway Spruce, the non-needle drop Nordmann Fir and Fraser Fir.   Comment from a visitor, August 13, 2007: "I have bought a Christmas Tree from these in Chesham for the past 2 years. They have loads of different types of trees for all different prices and are brilliant quality. You can pick which one you want and they will then wrap it up for you. Be aware that the tree you pick might look like the right size, but when you get home they always turn out massive (we've had to cut ours down both years). I will carry on buying from here each year. Brilliant!!"

The 'grown-ups' can enjoy a glass of mulled wine whilst they take time to choose their tree, whilst the youngsters can race around the field in the fresh air. We will cut your tree down for you, carry it back to the cabin and net-wrap it ready to take back home. All sorts of decorations and unusual gifts and this year our shop is bursting at the seams with even more goodies! The shop opens on the 5th November for the decorations and gifts, but to ensure freshness, our cut trees, mistletoe and wreaths will not be available for sale until 1st December. We sell a wide variety of trees practically all of which are grown here on the farm. Our trees are cut a few days before coming into the barn and each tree is graded for height/ quality and pre-priced to simplify your purchase.
